Also, formulas are in use as part of a task to calculate the area of certain geometric bodies that have a side or more sides that have this type of shape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The perimeter and area are directly proportional to the length of the side of the square. The bigger the side is, the bigger its area and perimeter!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Often the term &#8220;square&#8221; can be misunderstood because it can be in use as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>name of a geometric figure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>exponentiation of a number<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A square has two diagonals that are the same length. The two diagonals are cut exactly in half and form four equal, right angles.
